Forcing 20 percent of your employees to start their job at 9 a.m. is a formula for frustration and productivity loss. A particular intervention to working patterns, which allows employees to choose their own hours based on their preferences, would boost employee satisfaction and effectiveness. That shouldn’t be an issue as long as you verify they’re working.

Employees frequently have a legal right to receive unemployment insurance and severance payments, as well as to suit for discrimination or harassment.

The cost of staff maintenance is the most obvious downside of hiring workers in the electronic era. Employers must give lodgings and these accommodations are not inexpensive.   When you include extra hours and paid time off, you’re looking at a sizable financial investment.
